5-5-22 final proofs FLAG on LEFT SLEEVE

Here is a proof of the flag on the left sleeve along with the "70 Years" verse on the right sleeve. There is one thing to note here in that some folks find it odd to read a verse starting from the back of the shirt. We read left to right and as such, you'll have to start from the person's back. Reading this verse on the right sleeve, as you are facing the person wearing the shirt, would have your eyes start right where you're standing. This might be a non-issue for you, but traditionally, it's considered the wrong direction when printed on a sleeve.

As it relates to the reverse flag on the sleeve that we have been doing for you, the consensus was that with the logo on the left chest, the flag print on the right side lends a little better visual balance to the prints. It should be noted that both flag directions are proper and according to standards, so long as the starts are always facing fore. Thus the reverse flag when printed on the right.

final proofs with revised back design

  • Here's our version of PJ's layout. It's pretty much right on the mark but I'll wait for a final approval.
  • Also will need final quantities by size and style (if you opt to grab some ladies sizes too). Remembers...men's sizes are available up to 3XL only. But if you have anyone larger, we do have options...with an alternate brand.

70-Year Tee project

Okay here we go. There's a lot going on here, so bear with me.
  1. We'll need to choose print (ink) color. Orange/White Ink vs just White Ink options shown below.
  2. I added two layouts of the tagline on the back. I've also attached a pdf you can download that will give you an idea of the scale/how big the lettering would be if you used the single-line version.
  3. I had an idea about the '70-year' theme and added "Celebrating 70 Years" to the other sleeve. It's what's on the banner and patches and might be a nice complementary element; consistent with other mentions.
  4. I omitted the comma after the word Value.
  5. We've got both the orange and white ink version, the white ink only version and the ladies version shown below. Have a look, jot down your thoughts and let me know.
  6. NOTE ABOUT TEE-SHIRT COLOR: If the decision-makers are not amenable to the Dark Heather color (which is essentially a heathered black), Jerzees does offer another shade of grey called OXFORD. Oxford is a bit darker than the traditional Athletic Grey, but it's still not so dark as to be so blackish. It's actually a really neat color. It's reminiscent of the old -fashioned athletic grey of the 40's and 50's. It's a classic color that has made a comeback. If you find there's some difficulty deciding, I can send out samples. Let me know.  Here are Athletic Grey and Oxford side-by-side for comparison (screen colors never really tell the story though).
